Isabelle Fleury elected to tekom management

At the regular general assembly of members during the autumn 2008 annual conference, Isabelle Fleury was elected to the management of tekom.

She will take on the role of Secretary in the future. "In this role, I would like to contribute to the transparency of tekom and promote communication between management and members", Isabelle Fleury explains her aims. "As I am still quite a new member of tekom, I would like to bring fresh inspiration to the associations work. I am concerned with further training in the area of technical documentation and promotion of new companies. I will work towards closer links between those involved in the overall process of creating documents, and want to promote cooperation between industrial concerns and service providers, in view of the demands of globalisation, to their mutual advantage. I am particularly concerned with widening the view of information management beyond the boundaries of pure technical editing."

Isabelle Fleury is a managing partner of Fleury & Fleury Consultants. She has previously worked for Translingua, L&H, Mendez and Bowne Global Solutions, and as a university lecturer. A member of tekom since 2005, Isabelle Fleury has also been an active leader of the Nordrhein regional group since the start of 2008.
